Director of Provider Contracting

Job Summary

To provide strategic leadership and operational management, the remote Director of Provider Contracting will oversee provider contract development, negotiation, and lifecycle management while ensuring alignment with financial objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage provider contract development and negotiation across various lines of business
• Ensure compliance with financial objectives, actuarial assumptions, and regulatory requirements
• Lead the Provider Contracting Department, including staff management and budget oversight

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Seven years of experience in provider contracting or healthcare finance, including two years in a leadership role
• Proven experience in reimbursement methodologies and healthcare regulatory requirements
• Experience negotiating with hospitals, physician groups, and health systems
• Collaboration experience with Finance, Actuarial, Legal, and Compliance departments
