Director of Public Affairs

Job Summary

Leading high-priority, cross-functional initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Public Affairs will manage complex workstreams, advise senior leaders on healthcare policy and business strategy, and develop coordinated strategies to advance enterprise priorities in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex workstreams from initial framing through execution, defining scope, priorities, and milestones
• Advise senior leaders by framing business and policy issues, synthesizing perspectives, and translating insights into recommendations
• Develop strategies that connect healthcare policy developments to business objectives, ensuring alignment across stakeholders

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or public affairs strategy in a high-performance environment
• Deep knowledge of the U.S. healthcare industry, preferably with payer and/or provider experience
• Proven ability to independently structure complex problems and lead cross-functional work
• Exceptional project leadership and executive communication skills
