Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and forward-looking Director of Public Policy, this full-time remote position will manage policy development on AI and emerging technology issues, analyze legislative impacts, and shape Lumen's public policy agenda in the evolving digital infrastructure economy.
Key responsibilities
- Lead policy strategy development for AI and emerging technology issues crucial to Lumen's transformation
- Analyze complex policy developments to identify implications for Lumen's business strategy and competitive positioning
- Build relationships with policymakers and industry stakeholders to advance Lumen's interests in external policy discussions
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience in public policy, technology policy, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the technology policy landscape and ability to analyze complex policy questions
- Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Proven ability to influence and work effectively across a complex organization
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in public policy, law, economics, or a related field preferred
