Director of Quality Data Governance
Job Summary
Leading the enterprise-wide Quality oversight of Computer System Validation (CSV) activities, the remote Director of Quality Data Governance will manage the CSV program, drive the Data Governance and Data Integrity initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance quality processes while integrating emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for Quality Engineers overseeing CSV activities and co-lead continuous improvement of the CSV program
- Develop and enhance a comprehensive Data Governance/Data Integrity program, ensuring compliance and effectiveness across the organization
- Support the digital transformation strategy by evaluating and implementing AI and advanced analytics technologies to improve quality outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or Life Sciences
- 15+ years of experience in a regulated industry, such as Biotechnology or Pharmaceuticals
- Extensive knowledge of GMP and GDP regulations, along with strong expertise in computer system validation and data governance
- 8+ years of management experience with a proven track record in developing and mentoring teams
- Demonstrated ability to utilize data and digital tools to enhance quality outcomes, with experience in AI solutions as a strong plus
