Director of Regulatory Compliance
Job Summary
Overseeing regulatory compliance operations, the full-time Director of Regulatory Compliance will manage the Ambetter Regulatory Operations program, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and implement various aspects of the regulatory operations program, including handling regulatory complaints and grievance support
- Research and apply CMS, DOI, OIG, and HIPAA regulations to develop compliance strategies and processes
- Coordinate responses to CMS/Regulator Requests for Information and provide guidance on compliance issues across departments
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years of experience in regulatory, compliance, operations, or a related field, preferably in healthcare
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience with CMS and Marketplace regulatory issues
- Ability to develop policies and procedures to comply with federal and state regulations
