Director of Regulatory Compliance

Job Summary

The full-time salaried Director of Regulatory Compliance will serve as the organization's leading authority on raw material qualification and ingredient compliance, managing global regulatory standards and documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Determine and maintain ingredient-level compliance globally, translating regulations into actionable guidance for R&D and product development
• Partner with suppliers and manufacturers to secure and review raw material documentation, establishing standards and timelines
• Work cross-functionally to provide ingredient expertise throughout the product lifecycle, identifying challenges and offering technical solutions

Required qualifications

• MSc in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline
• 10+ years in a technical regulatory or ingredient science role within the Cosmetics or Personal Care industry
• Deep expertise in cosmetic ingredient chemistry and global regulations
• Direct experience with third-party suppliers and contract manufacturers, especially in the EU and Asia
• Proven track record of managing raw material qualification and compliance at scale
