Director of Research
Job Summary
Leading the research function and team, the full-time salaried Director of Research will set strategy, develop a high-performing team, and manage key research projects focused on health economics and drug pricing, with opportunities for remote work.
Key responsibilities:
- Set the vision and quarterly roadmap for the Research function, aligning with company priorities
- Lead and develop the Research team, establishing goals and performance metrics
- Conduct hands-on research by managing high-priority projects from question framing to impact measurement
Required qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in research, health economics, or a related field, with a Master's degree or 8+ years with a Ph.D
- 4+ years of experience managing and developing teams
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system and drug pricing
- Proficiency in quantitative tools such as R, SQL, and/or Python
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into credible insights and recommendations
