Director of Research
Job Summary
Leading a high-performing research team, the full-time Director of Research will set and execute a forward-looking research strategy, drive scientific excellence, and foster collaboration to advance breakthrough discoveries in cancer therapeutics, working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Drive scientific excellence and delivery by establishing clear program goals and milestones
- Build and develop a high-performing team while fostering professional growth and scientific independence
- Lead cross-disciplinary collaborations to drive innovation within and beyond the Institute
Required qualifications
- Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent advanced degree in cancer biology, cancer immunology, or a related life sciences discipline
- 10+ years of relevant post-degree experience with a strong track record in drug discovery or impactful scientific achievements
- Substantial experience in academia and/or industry, demonstrating scientific leadership and collaboration
- Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced research environment
- Experience providing scientific guidance and mentorship in a team setting
