Director of Research Operations

Job Summary

To lead the operational execution of a multi-site clinical trials portfolio, the full-time remote Director of Research Operations will manage clinical trial delivery from award through closeout, ensuring efficient processes, resource allocation, and performance visibility across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the operational execution of clinical trials, translating organizational priorities into clear plans and performance expectations
• Ensure research sites have the necessary infrastructure and support for successful trial execution while evaluating operational readiness and performance
• Drive efficient study startup and activation processes, establishing measurable expectations and implementing improvements to address activation delays

Required Qualifications

• Extensive clinical research experience with progressive responsibility in research operations and leadership
• Demonstrated experience overseeing clinical trial execution across multiple studies or sites
• Strong operational knowledge of study startup, regulatory processes, recruitment, and trial conduct
• Proven ability to build operational processes and establish accountability in a growing organization
• Strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and clinical trial operations
