Director of Resource Mobilization
Job Summary
Building relationships with institutional funders, the full-time salaried Director of Resource Mobilization will grow philanthropic revenue by securing investments of $500K or more and enhancing multi-year partnerships while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own a portfolio of institutional funders, moving them from cultivation to close and focusing on securing new investments
- Lead funder meetings and design stewardship strategies to retain and grow current funders' investments
- Partner with internal teams to align funding asks with organizational priorities and ensure effective communication with funders
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience, including securing multiple $500K+ gifts
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to inspire confidence in funders
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM for tracking engagement and fundraising strategy
- Exceptional writing and speaking skills for crafting compelling narratives
- Familiarity with workforce development or systems-change philanthropy is a plus
