Director of Revenue Accounting
Job Summary
Leading the global revenue, commission accounting, and accounts receivable functions, the full-time remote Director of Revenue Accounting will manage the end-to-end revenue lifecycle while ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop high-performing accounting and quote analyst teams
- Own ASC 606 and ASC 340 application across various revenue models
- Drive collection strategy and manage billing, cash application, and audit readiness
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting, Commissions, Quoting, and Accounts Receivable within a SaaS environment
- Deep expertise in ASC 606, ASC 340, and subscription-based revenue models
- Experience owning billing and collections, including DSO and cash flow management
- Strong understanding of quote-to-cash systems (Salesforce/CPQ, NetSuite)
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Finance, GTM, and Executive leadership
