Director of Revenue Accounting

Job Summary

Owning revenue and direct-cost accounting for consumer business streams, the full-time remote Director of Revenue Accounting will manage the monthly close process, ensure accurate revenue and margin reporting, and lead the transition to standardized accounting practices while leveraging automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own revenue and direct-cost accounting for consumer business labs, scans, mobile phlebotomy, and supplements, reporting on contribution margins
• Standardize the close process by transitioning from external firms to an in-house system, ensuring consistency across all revenue streams
• Automate month-end processes using AI tools to reduce manual work and facilitate scalability as the business grows

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with direct ownership of a consumer or health tech revenue close
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 for subscription and service revenue
• Experience in developing standardized accounting processes and internal controls
• Hands-on experience with AI tools in accounting workflows and managing a team
