Director of Revenue Cycle Management

Job Summary

Leading a team of revenue cycle professionals, the full-time contract Director of Revenue Cycle Management will develop and execute strategies for healthcare revenue cycle operations, ensuring compliance and optimizing financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enterprise revenue cycle teams, focusing on patient access, coding, billing, and accounts receivable
• Develop and implement revenue cycle strategies aligned with financial and compliance objectives
• Oversee KPIs such as A/R days, denial rates, and net collections to drive continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in full healthcare revenue cycle operations
• Strong understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payer reimbursement
• Proficiency with Epic revenue cycle systems (Prelude, Cadence, Resolute HB/PB)
• Demonstrated executive communication skills to present complex financial information
• Knowledge of CMS, HIPAA, and state regulations related to revenue cycle management
