Director of Revenue Cycle Management

Job Summary

To support independent and community-based primary care practices, the remote full-time Director of Revenue Cycle Management will oversee all revenue cycle functions, manage a large team of coders and billing staff, and serve as a trusted partner to clients by delivering financial results and identifying improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct all revenue cycle functions for MSO clients, including charge capture, coding, claim submission, and accounts receivable follow-up
• Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to clients, analyzing performance and identifying variances and opportunities for improvement
• Lead and mentor a large team of coders and billing staff, ensuring coding quality and compliance through audits and training programs

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in medical coding and billing with extensive knowledge of the full revenue cycle
• Deep knowledge of payor contracts, reimbursement methodologies, and denial and appeals processes
• Experience with EMR and practice management systems
• Demonstrated leadership of large coding or billing teams, ideally in a remote setting
• Experience preparing and presenting practice financial reports and analyzing financial performance
