Director of Revenue Cycle Operations

Job Summary

To lead order-to-cash transformation initiatives, the full-time remote Director of Revenue Cycle Operations will manage improvement efforts in bad debt, denial rates, and A/R aging while collaborating across multiple operational functions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive measurable improvements in key revenue cycle metrics, including bad debt and days sales outstanding (DSO)
• Lead the Brightree System Configuration function to ensure accurate payer configurations and compliance with contracts
• Oversee revenue cycle management projects and tactical recovery initiatives, prioritizing bulk-resolution efforts for claims and denials

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in revenue cycle, healthcare finance, or operations leadership with a focus on bad debt and denial rate management
• Proven track record in leading transformation or process improvement initiatives within a revenue cycle context
• Hands-on experience with Brightree or similar HME/DME billing systems, including system configuration
• Experience in building management systems and metrics disciplines within a revenue cycle organization
