Director of Scientific Communications

Job Summary

Leading the implementation of integrated scientific communications plans, the full-time Director of Scientific Communications will oversee publications, field medical content, and congress activities in a remote capacity, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategic communications priorities for vidofludimus calcium and Immunic's pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of integrated scientific communications plans, including publications and congress materials
• Manage literature surveillance and synthesize competitive intelligence to inform content planning and decision-making
• Establish scalable content processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and quality of scientific communications

Required qualifications

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) with a strong background in scientific writing
• 8+ years of experience in scientific communications, publications, or Medical Affairs within the biopharma sector
• Proven track record of developing and executing publication plans and scientific dissemination deliverables
• Strong knowledge of Good Publication Practice, publication ethics, and industry standards
• Experience managing external agencies and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
