Director of Security

Job Summary

Leading cybersecurity initiatives, the full-time salaried Director of Security will develop and implement security strategies to protect the DMS platform and ensure the safety of data, assets, and personnel while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard the DMS platform and dealer data
• Design and implement security incident processes, leading investigations and coordinating with external entities as necessary
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations, conducting regular audits and developing secure coding education programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and best practices, including SOC 1 and SOC 2 compliance
• Proficiency with security tools such as Microsoft XDR, AdLumin, and DarkTrace
• Experience with penetration testing programs and secure coding education initiatives
