Director of Security Compliance

Job Summary

As a hands-on leader, the full-time remote Director of Security Compliance will build and oversee the compliance, privacy, and trust function, ensuring governance, risk management, and regulatory readiness while partnering with various departments to enable business growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end compliance, privacy, and trust function, including governance and risk management
• Build an integrated control framework that aligns multiple compliance standards and manage the annual audit calendar
• Lead regulatory readiness for new markets and serve as the primary point of contact for customer trust and security inquiries

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years in security compliance, GRC, privacy, audit, or risk management, with 5+ years in leadership roles
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in writing policies, designing controls, and managing compliance programs in a cloud-native SaaS environment
• Operational privacy experience with GDPR and CCPA/CPRA, including direct management of data subject rights operations
• Experience establishing compliance and privacy frameworks in international markets, particularly Canada, the EU, and Latin America
• Proven ability to leverage AI in compliance processes, including evidence collection and control monitoring
