Director of Security Operations

Job Summary

Leading a converged security and network operations model, the full-time Director of Security Operations will oversee a team of over 150 professionals, ensuring 24/7 monitoring and response while managing the operating budget and service delivery across customer environments remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the SOC, NOC, and Threat Intelligence & Detection functions, designing the operating model and standardizing processes
• Own the operating budget, improve cost to serve, and provide inputs for pricing and capacity planning
• Oversee 24/7 security and network monitoring, managing high-severity incidents and ensuring effective customer communication

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in leading security operations and network operations at scale
• Strong background in budget management and operational economics
• Experience with security incident response and threat intelligence
• Familiarity with automation and AI in operational processes
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage with executive stakeholders
