Key responsibilities
- Lead underwriting activities and manage a team of underwriters
- Underwrite and oversee complex auto liability-focused risks and related exposures
- Develop underwriting strategies to drive profitable growth and ensure consistency in coverage and pricing
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of underwriting experience in commercial casualty, commercial auto, or specialty lines
- Strong experience with complex liability risks and non-standard exposures
- Proficiency in manuscript forms and bespoke policy wording
- Experience managing or mentoring underwriters
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving risk environments
