Director of SoC Architecture

Job Summary

To drive innovation in machine learning solutions, the full-time remote Director of SoC Architecture will manage the development of optimized software and hardware for AI models, oversee architectural guidelines, and influence product strategy across cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Leverage machine learning expertise to enhance training frameworks and model efficiency tools
• Direct the development of software enabling AI models on hardware for efficient inference and training
• Execute product proposals and define strategic direction for teams while providing updates to stakeholders

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 9+ years, or a PhD with 8+ years
• 5+ years of experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• 5+ years of experience in embedded system development and optimization related to machine learning
• 4+ years in a technical leadership role with experience in a large matrixed organization
• Experience managing operating budgets and project financials for AI-related initiatives
