Job Summary
Leading a team of software developers, the full-time remote Director of Software Development will oversee the evolution of legacy applications into modern solutions while ensuring high-quality code delivery and fostering a culture of accountability and performance mentoring.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of managers responsible for software development, focusing on execution and results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software that meets both internal and external customer needs
- Establish and communicate KPIs and metrics for managing and reporting team performance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a relevant technical field, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of IT Management experience, including leadership of software development teams
- Experience with modern technologies, agile development methods, and cloud-first strategies
- Proficiency in .NET, SQL, Angular, Oracle, React, and tools like Jira and Azure DevOps
- Experience in developing advanced automation testing frameworks and performance testing methodologies
