Director of Software Engineering
Job Summary
As a hands-on Director of Software Engineering, this full-time remote position will lead high-performing engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions, partnering with Product Management and Executive Leadership to modernize platforms and drive operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management and senior leadership to define and execute the product and technology roadmap
- Lead the modernization of legacy applications and platforms, driving migration to cloud-native architectures
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, and engineering coaching
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years leading engineering managers and software development teams
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale software products in cloud environments
- Strong expertise in Azure, .NET, C#, Angular, APIs, and modern software architecture patterns
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and implementing Agile methodologies
