Leading the development of a proprietary SaaS software suite, the full-time salaried Director of Software Engineering will manage application development, oversee software-related projects, and ensure quality output while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise application development and maintain the stability of proprietary applications, focusing on incident and problem management
- Enforce Software Development Lifecycle requirements, ensuring adherence to secure coding practices and change management policies
- Collaborate with software developers and product teams to deliver projects on time, while effectively communicating project status to stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role leading a team of full stack developers
- Strong knowledge and implementation experience in the Microsoft Technology Stack
- Experience building consumer-facing web applications and strong front-end development skills
- Proficient in database design and development with strong SQL skills
- Experience with Microservices and service-oriented architecture
