Director of Strategic Initiatives

Job Summary

To support a growing initiative, the limited-term remote Director of Strategic Initiatives will manage a portfolio of external opportunities to enhance delivery capacity, rigorously evaluate options, and implement selected priorities while collaborating with the Executive team and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build and prioritize a comprehensive portfolio of external pathways to increase delivery capacity
• Pressure test opportunities and provide defensible recommendations for advancement or cessation
• Advance selected priorities from evaluation to implementation, coordinating necessary internal work

Required qualifications

• Director or Team Lead-level experience in consulting, strategy, or operations within business or social impact contexts
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights from data for decision-making
• Proven negotiation skills with experience engaging institutional partners and stakeholders
• Ability to communicate clearly and directly, influencing senior stakeholders effectively
• Commitment to embodying organizational values in all aspects of work
