Director of Strategic Sourcing

Job Summary

Leading all aspects of strategic sourcing for commercial categories, the full-time remote Director of Strategic Sourcing will develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with corporate policies while partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sr. Director, Vendor Management to create a sourcing vision and strategy that aligns with business needs and financial objectives
• Develop and manage relationships with key commercial vendors to foster strategic partnerships and drive continuous improvements
• Lead RFI/RFP processes and vendor evaluations, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and internal guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• 12+ years in strategic sourcing with at least 5 years of expertise in commercial sourcing categories
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and managing complex, high-value contracts
• Advanced negotiation and contract management expertise with strong analytical and financial acumen
• Experience with global sourcing and managing international supplier relationships
