Job Summary
Owning marketplace dynamics, the full-time Director of Supply and Demand will manage pricing, Pro incentives, and supply planning in a remote environment, focusing on optimizing service completion rates and balancing marketplace needs across multiple markets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies, including dynamic and manual quotes, to balance customer demand and Pro engagement
- Design and test Pro incentives and supply planning tools to enhance service completion rates and optimize market performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements in service completion rates and ensure alignment on pricing and matching strategies
Required qualifications
- Degree in analytics, business, or a related field, or 7+ years of experience in marketplace supply and demand, operations, or equivalent roles
- Proven experience in managing dynamic pricing and yield decisions with direct impact on P&L
- Strong background in two-sided marketplace dynamics and the ability to balance supply and demand effectively
- Expertise in building forecasting and incentive-elasticity models independently
- Demonstrated ability to execute strategies collaboratively across cross-functional teams without formal authority
