Job Summary
Leading the technical production function, the full-time remote Director of Technical Delivery will manage a team of developers and contract resources to build email, SMS, web, and marketing automation programs while ensuring accurate and timely client work.
Key responsibilities
- Manage workload balance, prioritization, and professional development for developers and contract resources
- Run the build queue for various digital marketing assets and ensure readiness before development begins
- Build and maintain technical processes, standards, and QA checklists to improve efficiency and accuracy
Required qualifications
- 5+ years in marketing technology or digital marketing operations, with 2+ years managing technical production staff
- Conversant in HTML, scripting, and modern development workflows with a solid grasp of technical concepts
- Experience in building processes to resolve recurring issues, including checklists and QA standards
- Ability to make judgment calls in gray areas where documented processes do not apply
- Strong written communication skills for requirements and cross-team coordination
