Director of Technical Program Management
Job Summary
Owning end-to-end planning and execution for complex cross-organizational product initiatives, the full-time Director of Technical Program Management will drive release predictability, execution visibility, and operational discipline in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead planning and coordination of multi-team engineering programs, partnering with engineering and product leadership
- Establish success metrics and reporting standards to improve predictability in release models and execution health
- Design AI-assisted dashboards and automate reporting workflows to enhance visibility into program health and delivery risks
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or related fields with a track record at the Director level as an individual contributor
- Strong technical fluency and experience in managing complex engineering initiatives across multiple teams
- Proven ability to drive accountability and follow-through in an engineering organization without direct authority
- Deep familiarity with Jira-based workflows and experience in defining success metrics and operational reporting
- Experience with AI tools for automation and reporting in engineering environments
