Director of Technology
Job Summary
To support a growing digital business, the full-time remote Director of Technology will set the strategic technology direction for DentalPlans.com, manage a blended team of engineering and quality assurance professionals, and translate business strategies into actionable technology roadmaps.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business strategy and growth priorities into a clear, actionable technology roadmap
- Own the development of strategic technology objectives and long-range plans for the department
- Lead and develop a blended team of internal and outsourced technology resources
Required qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive Information Technology experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- Broad knowledge across the full technology stack supporting direct-to-consumer digital businesses
- Excellent understanding of the SDLC, project delivery, and continuous process improvement methodologies
- Proven ability to evaluate legacy systems and balance growth with risk management and budget constraints
