Director of Toxicology
Job Summary
Leading the charge in chemical safety and food toxicology, the full-time remote Director of Toxicology will develop and execute enterprise strategies, manage risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance across Campbell's commercialization and manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for chemical safety, food toxicology, and risk-based decision criteria
- Serve as the subject matter expert for toxicological risk assessments and chemical hazard evaluations
- Lead technical responses to chemical safety incidents and regulatory inquiries while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific discipline
- 15+ years of experience in food safety, toxicology, or related technical environments
- Demonstrated leadership in chemical safety and regulatory toxicology
- Experience interfacing with regulatory agencies such as FDA, USDA, and EPA
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry methods and laboratory procedures
