Director of Underwriting
Job Summary
Leading multiple underwriting teams, the full-time remote Director of Underwriting will drive pricing strategy, financial analysis, and competitive proposal development while ensuring financial performance and consistent underwriting practices across client segments.
Key responsibilities
- Provides strategic direction and guidance to underwriting managers to meet organizational needs
- Develops and executes ASO pricing and margin strategies in collaboration with leadership
- Oversees workflow coordination for the underwriting team and ensures accurate RFP responses
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 8 years of experience in underwriting, healthcare finance, or related fields
- 5 years of leadership or people management experience
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Advanced underwriting and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
