Disability Insurance Finance Consultant

Job Summary

To support the Disability Insurance Claims team, the full-time Disability Insurance Finance Consultant will analyze financial information, collaborate with claims professionals, and provide consultation to ensure accurate claim decisions and benefit calculations, working remotely in Wisconsin.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and consultation across DI Claims, applying accounting, tax, and contract knowledge
• Review personal and business financial records to calculate and explain benefit amounts and adjustments
• Build trusted relationships with claims professionals by providing clear and timely guidance on complex cases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
• Five or more years of accounting or tax-related experience
• CPA designation preferred; IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) designation may be considered with relevant experience
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex financial information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management tools
