Disaster Recovery Consultant
Job Summary
To strengthen enterprise disaster recovery capabilities, the remote Disaster Recovery Consultant will provide execution-focused support for enhancing application recovery planning, improving testing and validation practices, and ensuring effective recovery of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with technology and application teams to review and enhance disaster recovery plans
- Validate recovery strategies and identify gaps in recovery readiness
- Support the design and execution of disaster recovery testing, including simulations and failover exercises
Required Qualifications
- 9-10+ years of experience in disaster recovery, IT resilience, or technology risk
- Hands-on experience developing and validating disaster recovery plans
- Experience supporting or executing disaster recovery testing
- Strong understanding of recovery concepts such as RTO and RPO
- Ability to work effectively with technology and infrastructure teams
