Disaster Recovery System Architect
Job Summary
To support enterprise-wide resiliency efforts, the full-time remote Disaster Recovery System Architect will design, implement, and evolve disaster recovery and high availability architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
Key responsibilities
- Design enterprise-wide disaster recovery and high availability architectures, defining recovery strategies and objectives
- Implement automated failover solutions and recovery automation frameworks while evaluating emerging resiliency technologies
- Lead disaster recovery testing and validation exercises, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing disaster recovery and high availability solutions
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong understanding of networking, storage technologies, and virtualization platforms
- Experience with disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution
