Distinguished Engineer, AI Cybersecurity

Job Summary

To advance the future of cybersecurity AI, the full-time Distinguished Engineer, AI Cybersecurity will research, define, and build innovative systems within a remote environment, focusing on integrating frontier AI research with large-scale systems engineering to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and track advancements in cybersecurity AI, identifying new capabilities and use cases
• Invent and build end-to-end cybersecurity AI systems that integrate models, tools, and execution environments
• Establish rigorous evaluations to measure security efficacy and performance while leading technical direction across teams

Required qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Neuroscience, or a related quantitative field
• A sustained record of original work at the intersection of AI and cybersecurity
• Deep cybersecurity expertise in areas such as threat hunting, detection and response, or security analytics
• Experience architecting and building end-to-end AI systems for high-volume cybersecurity environments
• Demonstrated technical leadership, including mentoring and influencing major decisions across teams
