Distinguished Engineer, Security Architect

Job Summary

To set the security design standard for DGX Cloud, the full-time Distinguished Engineer, Security Architect will own security architecture across a large-scale platform, collaborating closely with engineering teams to ensure robust security practices while leading a small team of Principal Engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the security design standard for DGX Cloud, creating concrete reference architectures and requirements for engineering teams
• Embed with engineering teams to actively participate in design and development, ensuring security considerations are met in real-time
• Lead a small team of Principal Engineers, setting technical direction and fostering their professional growth across various domains

Required qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, and infrastructure, particularly with large-scale distributed or cloud platforms
• Proven record of owning security architecture for large platforms, with hands-on experience in multi-tenant isolation and policy enforcement
• Deep production-grade coding experience, capable of reading and understanding complex codebases to identify security flaws
• Strong background in threat modeling for complex distributed systems and understanding of cloud-native architecture and Linux security
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 18+ years of practical engineering experience
