Distribution Designer
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Distribution Designer, the contracted-to-full-time position will prepare detailed design packages for overhead and underground electric distribution projects while working remotely and collaborating with clients and internal teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed design packages for electric distribution projects
- Apply utility standards and design guidelines to all projects
- Conduct field visits and collaborate with engineers and project managers
Required qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent technical training in engineering, drafting, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of electric distribution design experience
- Familiarity with PSE design standards and systems strongly preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS, or similar design tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
