Job Summary
Providing mentorship and oversight, the part-time Doctoral Dissertation Chair will manage dissertation processes for students in the EdD-Educational Leadership program, ensuring high-quality research and collaboration with committee members in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor students throughout the dissertation process, from proposal to defense
- Supervise committee members and ensure compliance with university policies and procedures
- Facilitate the completion of IRB protocols and provide feedback on research methodologies
Required qualifications
- Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Education, Leadership, or related fields
- Experience serving as both a dissertation chair and committee member
- Prior experience mentoring doctoral students and overseeing research projects
- Evidence of quality research completed in the last ten years
