Job Summary

To support student learning and academic excellence, the part-time Doctoral Research Adjunct Faculty will engage in instructional responsibilities, maintain professional relationships, and pursue ongoing professional development while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitates a safe and productive learning environment by interacting directly with students and responding to their inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitors course quality and provides feedback on student assignments while ensuring adherence to college policies
• Pursues professional development opportunities to enhance teaching effectiveness and maintain knowledge of industry trends

Required qualifications

• Earned terminal degree in Leadership, Higher Education, Research, or Community College
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching and leadership experience in a formal educational setting, preferably in higher education
• Demonstrated ability to develop online/virtual professional relationships
• Evidence of professional research or creative endeavors relevant to the field
• Experience with both traditional and non-traditional teaching formats
