Job Summary
To support timely patient care and billing processes, the full-time remote Documentation Specialist will manage the collection and validation of patient documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and collaborating with healthcare providers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and validate clinical documentation for payer compliance and billing readiness
- Collect and manage patient eligibility documents, including prescriptions and prior authorizations
- Resolve pending revenue by reconciling documentation with outstanding charges and communicating with physician offices and payers
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
- One year of administrative experience in insurance, billing, claims, or financial services
- Proficient computer and system skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
