Job Summary
Ensuring the timely management of patient documentation, the fully remote Documentation Specialist will validate clinical records for compliance, collect eligibility documents, and resolve pending revenue issues while collaborating with healthcare providers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and validate clinical documentation to ensure payer compliance and billing readiness
- Collect and manage patient eligibility documents, including prescriptions and clinical notes
- Request and track prior authorizations while collaborating with state Medicaid programs
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required
- One (1) year of administrative experience in insurance, billing, claims, or financial services
- Proficient computer and system skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking capabilities
- Strong problem-solving skills
