Job Summary
Supporting the design and continuous monitoring of mission-critical systems, the full-time DoD Certified Information Security Engineer will implement security controls, coordinate with stakeholders, and assist in incident remediation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Employ best practices for security architecture and engineering, incorporating systems security engineering principles
- Capture and refine information security requirements to integrate them into system baselines and DevSecOps pipelines
- Execute gap analyses and technical evaluations to support continuous monitoring strategies and advance Zero Trust Architecture maturity
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited institution
- DoD Secret Clearance or higher
- DoD 8140 or 8570 equivalent IAT Level III certification(s)
- 2+ years of experience as an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) or Information System Security Officer (ISSO), or 10+ years of cybersecurity expertise with 3 years in DoD systems
- 1+ year of professional experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.)
