Donor Cultivation Associate
Job Summary
To enhance donor engagement, the full-time salaried Donor Cultivation Associate will manage communications and cultivation initiatives for the Gift Planning team, focusing on legacy society integration and stewardship while working remotely or from the Boston office.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for print and digital communications, producing 50-60 educational and cultivation messages annually
- Manage the systematic cultivation of ~300 Tom's Circle prospects and stewardship of ~900 members
- Review and refresh the educational resources and tools library, and draft narratives to promote tax-smart giving
Required qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in fundraising support within the nonprofit sector
- Strong project management experience
- Experience with project management systems like Asana and data management systems like Salesforce
- Knowledge of current trends in charitable giving and estate planning preferred
- Experience in identifying and sustaining new donor constituencies
