Donor Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

Engaging with donors to facilitate life-saving donations, the full-time Donor Engagement Specialist will utilize investigative skills to locate and educate donors, manage health screenings, and maintain accurate records while providing exceptional customer service in a mission-driven call center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Locate and contact donors using various data sources and internet research tools
• Conduct health screenings and assess donor eligibility while documenting all interactions accurately
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth donor operations and compliance with standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience
• Three or more years of experience in customer relations or direct patient interaction in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic data entry skills
• Advanced internet research skills, including familiarity with social media
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coach individuals on behavior change
