Donor Engagement Specialist

Job Summary

Engaging with donors to facilitate life-saving donations, the full-time Donor Engagement Specialist will utilize investigative skills to locate and contact donors, educate them about the donation process, and manage donor records while providing exceptional customer service in a mission-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Locate and contact donors using various data sources and tools while educating them about the donation process
• Conduct health screenings and assess donor eligibility based on medical history and conditions
• Coordinate logistics for blood draws and maintain accurate donor records within established timelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or a related health care field, or equivalent experience
• Three or more years of professional experience in customer relations or direct patient interaction
• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced internet research skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and educate donors effectively
• Experience with data entry and basic word processing required
