Donor Relations Officer

Job Summary

As a full-time remote position, the Donor Relations Officer will develop relationships with donors to enhance engagement and secure major and planned gifts, serving as an ambassador for the Foundation's educational and philanthropic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with donors to enhance engagement and secure major and planned gifts
• Act as an ambassador for the Foundation, promoting its educational and philanthropic initiatives
• Collaborate with team members to achieve fundraising goals in a flexible and goal-driven environment

Required qualifications

• Two or more years of professional fundraising experience, with a preference for direct experience in major gifts and planned giving
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; CFRE or similar certification preferred
• Prior experience with donor relationship management systems such as iMIS is preferred
• High level of maturity, integrity, and professionalism in donor and colleague interactions
• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and email
