Drafter/Designer
Job Summary
Collaborating with project managers and engineers, the remote Drafter/Designer will prepare engineering drawings from sketches and design information while operating Autodesk AutoCAD with a high level of competency.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare engineering drawings and design modifications according to established standards
- Check and ensure survey information is complete and ready for design
- Import field data from GIS-based systems into AutoCAD
Required qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2016 and above, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Experience in ArcGIS or equivalent software is a plus
- Experience reading and comprehending construction plans
- Experience preparing construction sketches
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
