Drafting Detailer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Drafting Detailer will prepare detailed structural and fabrication drawings for metal building systems using Tekla Structures while collaborating with engineering and project teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain detailed fabrication and erection drawings using Tekla Structures
• Develop accurate 3D models, shop drawings, and detail drawings based on project requirements
• Coordinate detailing requirements with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the metal building industry
• Professional experience using Tekla Structures is required
• Strong knowledge of metal building systems, structural steel, and fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings
