Job Summary
As a full-time remote Driver Onboarding Specialist, the role focuses on enhancing the driver experience by managing the onboarding process, providing live support, and ensuring effective communication between drivers and departments during their initial 30 days.
Key responsibilities
- Execute a warm welcome and onboarding process for new drivers, promoting a positive culture from day one
- Act as a primary liaison to resolve issues, answer questions, and provide assistance through various communication channels
- Conduct follow-up calls after 14 and 30 days to assess driver experiences and facilitate smooth transitions to the operations team
Required qualifications
- Preferred experience in transportation or fleet management, particularly within the truckload industry
- Proficiency in office database systems and relevant communication tools
- Demonstrated ability to empathize and de-escalate situations effectively
- Strong problem resolution skills with quick, logical decision-making abilities
- Experience in customer service, driver management, or communication is preferred
